The Hills are Alive
Last week there was a forest fire across the river from campus. It was sort of nutso, almost apocalyptic. The sky turned black, the winds picked up and the temperature dropped about 15 degrees. Apparently a house fire broke out and spread to the hillside. Here is a photo from the paper and one I took. It burned through the night and was spectacular to watch.

That bottom picture is cool. It looks like hell is opening up or something.
thanks, that's the one i took...it's the only one that turned out ok.
Other than the house that started it, no damage. It's a baren hillside with not much around.
Oh, and it was in KY. It was across the river
