When you are creating a post, highlight the word you would like to imbed the link in, then go above to a greenish icon that looks like 1 link (get it link) of a chain and click. You will get a dialog box where you can stick the 'ugly url' (be careful you don't get the http:// in there twice bc I think it is in there by default, then click okay and you got yourself one HOT link!!
