Great Day

Elisabeth got back from Myrtle Beach today and we had a good time. We went to the store and picked up the ring she had gotten cleaned, it was missing a diamond, so we brought it back. Then we went and played put put...I won...THEN we went and played frisbee golf. This corse is super challenging, it was great and Elisabeth did a wonderful job learning how to play. It was such a nice day out, low 60's. Then we came back and made dinner, fun fun.

I made deviled eggs and egg salad just now. Elisabeth had hard boiled and dyed a whole bunch for her kids for Dr. Suess' birthday, but then realized she can't bring in anything other than store brought foods or she'll get fired. So I made a whole bunch of stuff. I added horse raddish to my salad, I really enjoy it. I want to make chicken fingers again soon so I can use more horse raddish, I really dig it.

I have some of the worste dandruff ever. It's amazingly great! It will cover anything in about two or three swipes and will never fade. I figured it would lessen after intense scratching or rubbing, but it doesn't. I'm amazing that way.

Elisabeth's family is coming to stay with us Thursday night and Sunday night on their way to and from Myrtle Beach for Amanda's cheer competition. I bet I'll go, it should be fun. It's crazy loud at those, makes me a little uncomfortable, but it's always good to support those you care about. Plus, I bet it gives her dad a breather from all the estrogen.

I applied for a Zookeeper job today at the North Carolina Zoo. That would be cool, plus it's full time perm...which is amazingly difficult to find. It's with the bat section, my favorite mammal! I bet there's a lot of room to grow there, too.

I'm a big...Batfan...also! Michael and I were googling pictures of different kids of bats this past weekend. I still keep telling myself I'm going to build a bathouse this year. We'll see if I actually do. Send me some good plans if you have them.

Do you live near open water? If not, don't bother building. They only use those houses when they have young, and they require open water for food...insects.

Bats are your favorite mammal, that is very very interesting. I'd have to say they are one of my least favorite anythings...
