Hatred into Friendship

Last night was VERY rough. Tyler tried getting me to buy him and his friends some spirits, I said no. I hate it when he and his friends drink here. They are very loud and disrespectful of the apartment, the other roommates and Tyler himself. The other two roommates drink here, and I drink with them, and as hipocritcal as it sounds, they are much more responsible. The three of us sit in the room and watch a ball game or a movie and maybe Torri's girlfriend or Nick's cousin comes over to share in our activity...fine. This is a quiet and non-messy situation. There is no chance we are going to get the cops called on us for being loud or racuous. Tyler takes it to the extreme, and did last night. After he tried to con me into getting him liquore...you know "for the team"...he somehow managed to find it and invite the entire freaking campus over. Around 1 o'clock it had calmed down without incident. I felt relieved and ready to fall asleep. But this is when it got even crazier until about 3 am. They were playing spin the bottle the last time I went out to ask them to get quiet.

I was freaking PISSED OFF! I was ready to throw down. His friends are so rude. The one guy, who claims to be his best friend, locked himself in Tylers room and proceeded to have sex on Tyler's bed. And Tyler didn't want it to happen, it wasn't like Tyler was ok with it prior to it happening.

This morning when I woke up I was ready to run into his room and start screaming. I let him wake up on his own and I left a message for him on the fridge, "we need to talk". When I got back from class the apartment was cleaned. This impressed me greatly, seeing as how the last four times he's left the apartment trashed and it has fallen on mine and the other two roommates to clean. When he got home we had a little talk. I expressed my opnions and how ticked I was that he allowed these people into our apartment, trashed it, created way too much noise and how screwed I'll be if anyone is caught. Seeing as how I'm the only over 21, it's me who gets in trouble with the law. But the talk went really well and I think we came to a good understanding. He said he wouldn't allow this to happen again, and that he wouldn't have people over to drink again with Torri, Nick or I around. I thanked him and then we went to dinner together. I feel much better about it. I don't think it'll happen again. I certainly hope not.
