South of the Border III
Here is the sweet sombrero and all its glory. It costs one dollar to go up and see south AND north of the border, truly a treat for all ages. It changed my life.

THE Hot Dog Stand highly guarded by the Hot Dog.

The sign of welcome and mystique. It's the bringer of jollity...Jupiter plays in background.

This is from the top of the sombrero and you can easily see all things south of the border. According to the mini railway that runs through this part of town, this is known as, "The Carolinas and Northern Mexico." In the way back is, "The worlds greatest putt putt." We played some that were much better later that day at Myrtle Beach.

I was shedding a single tear as we drove by and were unable to visit again.

The majestic realm at night

You need to run to the library or something to see these. They had a store there called the cement bizzare and it conatined tons and tons of cement statues, the most common being those dirty little emxicans holding their tummies.
*Funny side note - Once my sister hosted a cable access tv show in high school with Jenn Komars neighbor, Heath...anyone remember that? She's a comedian and had a skit on there called, Craig Erwin Lawn Ornament Hunter" and use to roam yards looking for them. They went to a lawn ornament sales yard once and found all these funny things. She came accross this mexican statue and claimed something to the affect of, "...ah yes, the infamous mexicans, or meican'ts? Look here at there feet, they are dirty. This is a trademark of most mexicans, they have poor hygien habits and rarely have enough cash to afford shoes, they are always too busy spending it on liquore."
This was all adlibed. My Dad saw it and laughed so hard. We have mexican cousins and they were freakin pissed at my sister. I wonder if this will be funny as text, but it was HISTERICAL on tv. She did it in that Steve Erwin mixed with a Craig-a-saurus-rex/craig-ums voice. I can't remember that guys last name. ha.
lol, I remember the show they used to do, "The Neighborhood Freakshow". I never saw that skit though. I think Heath is going to film school now, his family moved to Kansas City a few years back.
I remember when they moved. That show was nuts. I can't imagine them getting a show like that now a days. We tried getting a band together to play on there, but it never worked out. I was sad. We called ourselves The Rainbow Fairies. That was the only time Dan Mackney and I hung out when we tried to get that together.
NATURE BOY! I LOVE THE PICTURES! THEY ROCK MY SOCKS!
