South of the Border

Have any of you ever traveled on I-95 south through SC? Jen? If not, you really should. If you have, than you are very aware of the excitement I am about to illustrate:

South of the Border

SOB is an attraction just off 95 at the first exit into SC and is super sweet. Here is a little photo journal of our trip there this past weekend. Most of it was closed for the "winter", but if you guys all come here for the summer get a way, we will for sure stop there. It's close and looks crazy funny, we had a great time in only 45 minutes. Enjoy!!!
The approach...that's a giant sombrero that you can get inside!

Once we got there, I started making friends with the locals. South of the Border is so exotic. The language barrier was hard at first, but I figured it out. Good thing I carry pesos with me at all times!

As soon as we got out of the car, Elisabeth ran over to the heard in attempts to hitch a ride to the sombrero. No luck though, they were way too fast and not interested in helping.

Here I am calming down this steer John Wayne style, ear biting. Yeah, I'm a man. It obviously has worked, look how calm and cute he is.

Still on her quest, Elisabeth tries to love the chickens into giving her a ride. They weren't interested, she loved them anyways.

Oh man! I really did want to ride on one of those wild beasts! They were so cool! If you were viting South of the Border, you probably would long to ride one, too!

Come on down for a visit to Upper Mexico and the Carolinas!
